The week of June 14-20, 2026, has been proclaimed as Jane Lampton Clemens and Mark Twain Week in Columbia, Kentucky, as the result of a proclamation issued by Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots.
This is in recognition of the collaboration between Lindsey Wilson University and the Arts Administration Program at Lindsey Wilson University, with input from the Adair County History and Genealogy Research Center and the Adair County Arts Council.
