On Thursday, December 28th, 2023, Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman received a call at 5:06 a.m. of an injury collision on KY 1729, 8 miles east of Columbia.
Upon arrival it was found that Kimberly Curry, 47, of Columbia, and her juvenile son were traveling south on KY 1729 in the Sano community.
Curry, operating a 2021 Nissan passenger car, had multiple deer cross the roadway in front of her vehicle, striking at least 2 of them.
Both Curry and her son were treated on scene by Adair County EMS and transported to TJ Health Columbia.
Sheriff Brockman was assisted by the Adair County Fire Department.
