A unique walking tour of the Public Square in Columbia will highlight a few of the many incidents that have occurred on—and off—the Town Square, illustrating its rich history. Just as the title states, there will be incidents of our varied past illustrated, some in graphic detail.
The tour will be led by Mike Watson and Dave Thomas—fresh off the Lanterns & Tombstones Tours and Silent City Tours.
The group will form at the Annex steps, corner of the Square and Greensburg Street, and proceed around the Square at 7pm CT, on the evening of Friday, October 24th, 2025.
This is an educational, historical walk back into the wild years of early Columbia, the Civil War, and more. It is not intended for small children, as it can be a bit gory.
