From Sheriff Roy: “The State of Kentucky is mandating that all vehicle inspections are to be done electronically.
Starting June 1, 2026, we will no longer be able to do vehicle inspections on paper VTR’s, we will have to submit them directly to the Adair County Clerk’s Office.
The inspection process will not change, nor will the fees associated with inspections.
Please be patient as we navigate our way through the IPAD’s, as we do these inspections for you.
