On Thursday, November 6, 2025, Adair County Deputy Sheriff Hunter Tweedy responded to the Gentry Mill Road area, to assist the Russell County Sheriff’s Office on a theft case.
Arrested was Steven Shane Flatt, age 53, of Columbia.
Flatt was charged with Receiving Stolen Property (Over $1000 but less than $10,000) and Driving on a DUI Suspended License.
Flatt was taken to the Adair County Regional Jail by Deputy Tweedy.
