On Thursday, April 16, 2026, Adair County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to 3585 Liberty Road in reference to a reported theft.
Through an investigation, Deputies were able to locate stolen property and arrest two individuals.
Donald Keene, 36, of Columbia, was charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Burglary 3rd degree, Criminal Trespassing 3rd degree, Public Intoxication and Theft by Unlawful Taking Over $1000.
Amber Hammond, 40, of Columbia, was charged with Burglary 3rd degree, Criminal Trespassing 3rd degree, Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct 2nd degree.
Arrests were made by Deputy Hunter Tweedy, with assistance from Deputy Nick Barber and KSP Trooper Ford.
