On Wednesday, May 6th, 2026, Mayor Hoots visited Adair County Elementary School and signed the latest Mental Health month proclamation.
Mental Health awareness continues to be a priority for the City of Columbia and Adair County Schools, this month especially as it is being pushed nationally.
Mayor Hoots was extremely honored to join administration at Adair County Elementary School, to continue to make more people aware of the mental health challenges facing our youth population.
