KY 1576 In Clinton County To Be Temporarily Closed For Bridge Replacement

SOMERSET, Ky. (Jan. 15, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists that a portion of KY 1576 in Clinton County will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, Jan. 27, as crews begin work on a bridge replacement project. 

The closure will occur at mile point 1 (Spring Creek), located between G Speck Road and Ewing Branch Road.

During the closure, motorists will need to follow the signed detour routes via U.S. 127.

The KYTC contract limits the closure to 90 days. Overall project completion is expected by July 1, 2026.The starting date and duration of the closure may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
