Associate Artistic Director Jeremy Cloyd expressed his enthusiasm for the program, saying, “IMAGINE! Youth Theatre has become one of the most meaningful parts of our summer season. Each year, we watch students grow as artists and individuals, discovering the magic of storytelling and theatre.”
This year’s production of The Wind in the Willows follows the whimsical adventures of Mole, Rat, Badger, and the ever-impulsive Mr. Toad. With heartwarming lessons of friendship and the excitement of the open road, this musical adaptation brings Grahame’s cherished characters to life in a way that will delight audiences of all ages.
TheatreFest! Artistic Director Robert Brock emphasized the importance of youth theatre, stating, “Providing a space where students can experience the joy of theatre firsthand is central to our mission. IMAGINE! Youth Theatre continues to be a place where young artists can explore their creativity, build confidence, and form lifelong friendships.”
IMAGINE! Youth Theatre is open to students ages 8-18 and meets Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in V.P. Henry Auditorium. The camp is completely free for all participants, thanks to the generous support of donors and community partners.
