Hosparus Health Green River Offers Grief Programming To Support Community Members This Holiday Season

New group programs help individuals navigate grief during the holidays.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY) — Hosparus Health Grief Counseling Services in Green River extends a heartfelt invitation to community members to participate in its upcoming programs designed to support people of all ages who are coping with grief surrounding loss throughout the holidays. Thanks to generous donors, the leading nonprofit provider of hospice, palliative care, and bereavement services is offering these specialized programs to everyone in the community free of charge.

GFORCE Movie Night: Friday, October 11, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Children 10 and older are invited to an evening featuring dinner and a screening of My Girl at Hosparus Health Green River, 462 N Bypass Road, Campbellsville. A trained grief counselor will lead an age-appropriate discussion following the film to explore grief-related topics. Guided Meditations for the Caregiver’s Heart Virtual Series: Tuesdays, 5-6 p.m.

Ongoing Local Support Groups

Hosparus Health offers ongoing adult support groups in person at our Green River office in Campbellsville, 462 N. Bypass Road, for Parent Loss and Spouse Loss, and an online option for our Mixed Loss support group. Led by licensed counselors, these groups provide a safe space to share experiences with others. Grief Counseling Services

Hosparus Health’s grief services are available at no cost to hospice patients’ families for up to 13 months after the loss of their loved one. For community members who did not receive our hospice care, we accept most major insurance plans with sliding-scale fees and financial assistance available for those who qualify.
