Darlene Franklin Campbell A Hit At Adair County Genealogical Society’s April Meeting

The Adair County Genealogical Society’s April 6th meeting was hosted by our own Darlene Franklin Campbell, noted author, researcher, artist, and historical interpreter, and retired teacher.

The topic was one of considerable interest: Native Americans in Adair County and South Central Kentucky History. Well-known for her presentations on Native American culture and life, and DNA research, Darlene did not disappoint her audience.

She touched upon the many local families that may have Native American blood lines as well as possible Melungeon links in their genetic and genealogical pasts.

The ACGS and the Adair Genealogy & History Research Center, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, wishes to thank Darlene for a fascinating presentation!
