Dairy Queen in Columbia celebrated their 5th anniversary today (Wednesday, November 5, 2025) with a ribbon cutting outside their location on Jamestown Street.
Mayor Hoots joined A.J. Schindler, manager, and Shannon Shelton and Mark Pruitt today at the event.
The local Dairy Queen is a part of Fourteen Foods, that started in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The company now has more than 250 Dairy Queen Grill and Chills throughout the United States.
“We are pleased that Dairy Queen (Fourteen Foods) chose our community,” said Mayor Hoots.
