Columbia Police Department Activity Report: December 2025

Highlights from the past month include six criminal cases opened, 28 accidents investigated, and over 800 calls for service answered. 

Also, during the month officer Elliot Smith received the 2025 Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Award, an annual award presented by the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety. 

Other highlights from the month of December for the department include 40 hours of DOCT In-service training being completed by school resource officer John Harris and an updated SRO contract with Adair County Schools.
