Columbia Film Festival At LWC’s Slider Auditorium: Thursday “The Crow”; Friday “Billy Topit, Master Magician”

Thursday, June 19th, 2025 is day one of our Columbia Film Festival, held at the Slider Auditorium on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College.

Thursday’s showing will be of Jenna Grant’s, The Crow, a short film which was filmed in Columbia.

The film’s theme centers around bringing awareness to the topics of domestic violence and drug abuse, and Thursday will be domestic violence awareness night with a small reception beginning at 6PM with the screening to follow.

On Friday, we will be showing Lance Burton’s, Billy Topit, a fictional comedic film produced by the Adair County magician, it is a family friendly comedy and should be highly enjoyed by children and adults.

A reception will begin on Friday at 4PM, with the showing to follow.

Tickets are needed, but free and available for pick up at City Hall between the hours of 8AM and 4PM.

Any remaining tickets will be available at the door on Thursday and Friday night for attendees.
