(April 1, 2025) As of 9:23 a.m. on April 1, 2025 the boil water advisory for customers on 1200-7000 Milltown Road, Theron Akin Road, Ray Coffey Road, Portland Road, Carter Keltner Road, Old Portland Road, Flatwoods Road, Kemp Road, and all side roads in between, has been lifted by the Division of Water. This means your water is safe for human consumption. You no longer have to boil your water.

A BOIL WATER ADVISORY is in effect for Columbia/Adair Utilities District consumers from 1200 Milltown Road to 7000 Milltown Road, Theron Akin Road, Ray Coffey Road, Portland Road, Carter Keltner Road, Old Portland Road, Flatwoods Road, Kemp Road and all side roads in between.
The advisory has been issued due to a main line break.
Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure.
Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using.
This advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality.
