Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth Of July Celebration Downtown Schedule: Street Closures

The 48th Annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration downtown activities are set for Saturday June 29th, Tuesday July 2nd, Wednesday July 3rd and Thursday July 4th, 2024. The Chamber of Commerce appreciates the patience of all downtown merchants and property owners as we navigate the placement of vendors and other attractions.

Street closures are as follows:

Saturday June 29th:

Main Street from South Central Avenue to Lebanon Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. to organize the 5K. Jackson Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. will be also closed from 8 a.m. until approximately 9:00 a.m. for the running of the 5K. All downtown streets will reopen at 10 a.m.

Tuesday July 2nd:

South Court from Main Street to Commercial Street and Commercial Street (including the city parking lots) will be closed from 3 p.m. until 11 p.m. for the Kick-Off Concert and Food Vendors.

Wednesday July 3rd:

The Main Stage will be setup around 9 a.m., which will force the closure of Lebanon Avenue from Main Street to First Street. That area will remain closed until late Thursday afternoon around 6 p.m.

Main Street from South Columbia Avenue to Poplar Street will be closed at 12 noon to allow for vendor, and other setup. Main Street will remain closed until 6 p.m. Thursday July 4th. The public parking lots behind City Hall will also be closed at 12 noon.

Thursday July 4th:
Main Street will remain closed. Also, First Street from Court Street to South Columbia Avenue will be closed Thursday morning July 4th to prevent parking and allow for the Tractor Show on Thursday.

Again, we appreciate your patience and support of the Chamber and the Fourth of July Celebration.
