Campbellsville Fire-Rescue Dispatched To House Fire On Handley Avenue, Juvenile Sustains Minor Burns

Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a report of a working house fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found moderate smoke coming from the upstairs of the house.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, searched for occupants and provided overhaul.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

All occupants were able to escape the residence, but a 12 year old sustained minor burns and was transported to Taylor Regional via Campbellsville Taylor County EMS.

Firefighters rescued two dogs from the residence and provided oxygen.

No firefighter injuries were reported.
