Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a report of a working house fire.

Upon arrival, firefighters found moderate smoke coming out of the Charlie side of the structure.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, searched for occupants and provided overhaul.

During the primary search 2 dogs were located but they did perish in the fire.

The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.

No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported.
