Glasgow, KY – T.J. Samson Community Hospital proudly celebrates the arrival of the first baby born in the new year. Grayson Lewis Anderson arrived at 12:18pm on January 1, 2025, weighing 4 pounds, 15 ounces to parents Andrea and Patrick Anderson of Burkesville. He was delivered by Dr. Catherine Feese.
“We are excited to kick off the year with the arrival of our first baby. It’s always a special moment for the hospital and our community to celebrate such a joyous occasion,” said Neil Thornbury, CEO of T.J. Regional Health. “Our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and staff are committed to providing the best possible care to all our families, and we couldn’t be more proud to support this new beginning.”
The hospital’s staff extended warm congratulations to the proud parents, who will be receiving a special gift basket filled with baby essentials as part of the tradition for the first baby of the year.
In addition to his parents, baby Grayson is welcomed by four siblings, all of whom were also born at T.J. Samson Community Hospital where about 1,000 babies are delivered each year.
The entire T.J. team extends heartfelt wishes to the family and to all the parents and children welcomed into the community this year. The hospital looks forward to a year filled with new beginnings, growth, and community support.
