Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman initiated an investigation on Thursday, April 11th, 2024 after he was contacted by a property owner in the Sano community of Adair County.
The victim stated that diesel fuel used in their agricultural business was pumped from their tank and stolen.
After an investigation and identification of suspect, Sheriff Brockman obtained an arrest warrant for Coy Turner, 48, of Columbia.
Turner was arrested on Thursday, April 25th, 2024 by the Adair County Sheriffs Office after turning himself in.
He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of Theft By Unlawfully Taking.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office continues the investigation.
