On Saturday, February 01, 2025, Adair County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the Flatwoods Road area about someone trying to hide tools in a field.
Deputies were able to make contact with 2 male individuals and locate numerous amounts of power tools.
During the investigation Deputies learned that the power tools were stolen from two different locations in the Portland Road area of Adair County.
The Sheriff’s Office was able to identify and return numerous power tools to the rightful owners.
Also during the investigation, the Adair County Sheriff’s Office located a stolen vehicle and other stolen property that was reported stolen to the Kentucky State Police from the Cedar Grove Road area of Adair County.
The case is going to be presented to the Adair County Grand Jury for criminal charges against 3, possibly more individuals, for prosecution for burglary and theft of these items.
