The Adair County Cattlemen’s Association will begin taking applications for the County Agriculture Investment Program (CAIP) starting on August 1st. The deadline to apply is August 21st. Applications may be picked up and returned to the Adair County Conservation District Monday-Friday, 7 am till 11 am and Noon till 4:00 pm.
CAIP provides cost-share assistance to Kentucky agricultural producers for practices that can improve and diversify their farm operations.
Producers with interest in CAIP are encouraged (but not required) to attend an informational meeting to better understand guidelines and changes that have taken place for 2024. Informational meetings will be held at the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service on the following dates and times:
August 1st at 10:00 am
August 1st at 2:00 pm
August 5th at 6:00 pm
