October 2025, has been proclaimed as City Government Month in Columbia, Kentucky, as the result of a proclamation issued by Mayor Pamela Hoots.
There are 408 cities in the Commonwealth of Kentucky with more than 30,000 individuals serving active roles in their specific city government.
The Kentucky League of Cities Board of Directors declared October 2025, as City Government Month in Kentucky.
The proclamation was signed in Columbia by Mayor Hoots and City Clerk Woody Sharpe.
