On October 5, 2025, Ofc. Christopher Tweedy with the Russell Springs Police Department made a traffic stop on a vehicle no insurance and the registered owner coming back with an expired operator’s license. Dennis Franklin, 63 or Russell Springs was a passenger in the vehicle. A roadside investigation took place and Mr. Franklin was arrested and charged with the following:
– POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST DEGREE (METHAMPHETAMINE)
– POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA
– POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
