Columbia – Adair County Fire Department was dispatched at 04:38 hours Tuesday Morning to 380 Jones Chapel Road on a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival firefighters found a single wide mobile home with heavy smoke & fire conditions showing. Firefighters then made an offensive attack on this fire quickly bringing this fire under control, the fire was contained to the original structure. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
There were 13 firemen on scene for approximately 1.5 hours. There were no injuries reported at the time of the incident.
