The City of Columbia will have the dedication of their veterans banners for 2025 on Friday, May 23, at 10:00 a.m. Russell Lunsford with the local VFW will be the guest speaker.
This year the city has close to 100 veterans banners up in the area immediate around and off the square. Veterans representing World War II, the Vietnam War, Korean War, active duty, are on these banners.
“We encourage the public to walk around and look at the banners representing the history of our community,” said Mayor Hoots.
The public is invited to attend.
