March has been proclaimed as Multiple Sclerosis Month as the result of a proclamation issued by Mayor Hoots.
Joining Mayor Hoots in the signing was Jennifer Sebastian of Columbia.
The proclamation is to raise awareness of the disease and its symptoms and to assist in education of the public.
