Columbia – Adair County Fire Department was dispatched at approximately 20:14 hours Thursday night to 950 Buell Collins Road on a report of a structure fire.
Upon arrival firefighters found a residential 2 story structure fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters made a defensive attack on the fire due to safety concerns and protected buildings around this structure. The cause of this fire is unknown at this time. The structure was deemed a total loss. There were 15 firefighters on scene for approximately 2.5 hours.
No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
