From Adair County Judge Executive Larry Russell Bryant: “I am pleased to announce that I just received the $15,500 award notification for the 2026-2027 Kentucky Pride Fund Household Hazardous Waste Management Grant Agreement, which my Deputy Judge Executive/Solid Waste Coordinator applied for.
So many of you asked about the electronic waste and household hazardous waste events this weekend during free tipping and now we can officially announce receiving the funding. I appreciate every one of you who participated in free tipping and those who took electronics and hazardous chemicals home while awaiting this grant.
Scheduling has already begun, and Household Hazardous Waste dates and times have been secured for November 14, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. CT to 12:00 p.m. CT at the Adair County Road Barn.
