From Sheriff Gary Roy: “I have had citizens and political candidates to reach out to me regarding campaign signs.
Campaign signs that are placed on private property, can be removed by the owner of the property.
Campaign signs that are on right of ways will be removed by the State Transportation Cabinet and the County Road Department.
I have spoken with both the state and county road crews and as mowing season approaches the signs will be removed and taken to the state highway garage or the county road department garage.
So, as a candidate myself, I know firsthand the cost of signs and I don’t want to see anyone lose their signs.”
