An organizational meeting was held at City Hall in order to begin planning for the 2026 edition of the Spirit of Columbia awards.
This meeting was attended by several emergency agencies including Breeding Fire Department, Adair County Ambulance Service, Columbia Police Department, Columbia Fire Department, and TJ Health Columbia.
The awards honor emergency responders in our community that have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
The 2026 edition of the awards will be held on Friday, April 3rd at the Columbia City Park pavilion.
Nomination forms are available for pickup at City Hall during normal business hours.
Nominations will be accepted until February 16th at 4:00PM also at City Hall.
